Show Me the Way to Go Home

This album came together fairly quickly, over the course of a couple of weeks. I initially intended to write a few more tracks, but then I caught a bug that completely killed my momentum and flow.

At the center of this album is an amazing little app for iOS called Xynthezisr, a “32-step matrix sequencer/monotimbral synthesizer with generative features and MIDI”. I got into the habit of crafting these simple sequences and shifting them slightly over time, adding and removing notes, pitching everything up and down and playing with the underlying synth engine.

Some tracks use additional apps for drums, additional synths and samples.

All tracks were recorded “live” with minimal to no post-production. credits
