The alchemy by which a group of songs becomes an album is a strange one. Musicians can spend months, years, putting together an album. Or, they can just throw one together from loose bits and pieces. This album is the later. Songs left out for long enough that they’ve become “done” through sheer entropy. Barely touched, put together and released.
But even something like this is a statement. Albums can’t help but be a statement. Like any work of art, they’re to be observed, analyzed. I hope you get something out of this one. If nothing else, some nice tunes to fill your ears.
